Pursuant to notices mailed and delivered to all the
directors of the Pacific Grove Retreat Assocation ten days
previous.

A special meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Corporation was held in the Ladies Parlor of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, Pacific Grove, California. There were present
E.C. Hurlbert Director & President.

Absent members. O.S. Olmsted & F.K. Baker.

After prayer by Rev. J.H.N. Williams the minutes
of the last meeting were read, and approved.

The President stated our purpose of calling the
meeting is to fill the vacancies caused by the death
of Rev. J.W. Peters, director, and the removal of the Rev
E.B. [Winning]. And to act upon whatever business may
come before the board.

It was regularly moved and seconded that Rev
J.H.N. Williams should be made Vice President of the
Association.

Moved & seconded that we pass resolution of regrets
on the death of Rev. J.W. Peters.

On motion by E.C. Sturlbert & seconded by J.H.N WIlliams
that a committee be appointed to ask Atty Mack and
Dr. Mc [Quillican] if they would act as Directors
The Rev J.H.N. Williams & F.B. De Forest were appointed.
There being no other business the meeting adjourned.
