Translation

(see note) A man's breath, which is heavy and
of a very heavy nature, remains in the air
without any prop or foundation but simply by its nature.
And because of all of this, anyone who marvels at what
God does is foolish. For no creature has the ability
to explain why these things are or are not. There is
nothing so small that one may know the explanation
to be true, unless it is pleasing to Our Lord.
One may know and understand the reasons for
some things because they are established by
scholarship and may also know things by nature
that are not known by reason. However long a
man may investigate the works done by nature on
earth, he will never be able to know why
nor how they are done. For no one can understand
with certainty save God alone, Who knows and
understands the reason. [rubric:] To understand
where hell is located and what it is. [/rubric]
We have set out and explained to you the outside world
as best we could, however briefly.
Now it is the right time (see note), after what has already been said,
to learn about and investigate certain places and
