Dear Mom and Dad,

Your letters Mom haven't sounded to cheery lately.
This is really crummy --> you don't realize how big the
delay is here. I get a letter from you saying that
you lost Sue's address. I have the first one you sent.
Only I sent like 2 letters after you sent the one w/
the address before I recieved the letter w/ the address.
Do you understand. Our comminication is terrible.
I am homesick right now. I like home alot. I
can act there any way I want and I know I
am accepted and liked. Its security. I
hope you know that.

Yes Mom I was joking about the Krauter's
candy. Jeez Louise. Talk about a communication
problem. I wish mail was better.

You wouldn't believe this weekend. Brian and
I hitch-hiked to Schwäbisch Hall planning on meeting
2 other students there and coming back at about 4 p.m.
We never met them and things were pretty closed up
there so Brian suggested we go the Nürnberg (pretty
far (N.E.)) So we did. We got a ride from this French
guy (spoke german) and we all stopped for coffee. We
played chess there (Brian + I won) then we drove the rest
of the way to Nürnberg. We had beer + cheese in his apartmen
then he drove us to the castle in the city. There we looked
around --- pretty nice castle --- we saw this youth
hang-out place in the castle. So we went there +
Brian + I took all comers and won. Then we walked
around and decided to go to Munnich --- got there
pretty easy and stayed in a Pension there. Brian
had wanted to "see" Munich. The next morning
we hitch-hiked to Innsbrück. through the Alps.
Beautiful. Really nice beautiful villages there.
Once we got to Innsbruck we walked around +
then boughts tickets to Ulm (train). We would have
gotten into Ulm really late so while on the train
