Weight of 30 cc. beaker = 22.065 gms Weight of beaker plus Hg = 36.960 [gms] Weight of Hg = 14.915 gms to be dissolved in 4cc. conc. HNO3 in 10 cc. H2O Weight of Hg undissolved = 8.305 mgs Hg dissolved = 14.915 - 8.305 = 6.610 gms.

FAILED! HgCl2 precipitated by MnCl2

Weight of 30 cc. beaker = 21.015 gms [Weight] of beaker + Hg = 29.330 [gms] [Weight] of Hg = 8.315 gms to be dissolved in 4 c.c. conc. HNO3 + 10 c.c. H2O

Samples of Hg(NO3)2 was prepared. ~ 7.0 gms of Hg contained in a soln of 9 c.c. volume with 7.75 gms of Fe (NO3)3 ⋅ 9 H2O (404 = M.W.) Made two samples

Enriched Cd 113 weight of beaker = 25.151gms weight of beaker+Cd113S=25.709 "of Cd113S=0.588gms

Cd.111 Molarity = 1.5/10x0.1445 = 1.04 M Molarity pf MnSO4 = 0.36/10x0.169 = 0.213 M Cd113 Molarity = 0.558/5x0.1445 = 0.772 M

Sept. 21, '44 Hg #4 7.85 gms of Hg in 5cc sol ~ 7.8M ~ 1.3M of Hg199 Mn(NO3)2 = 0.1M

Sept.26, '49 For measurement of hi spin signal is too narrow

3 drops of 4M Mn(NO3)2 was added to the sample (3/26.3 C.C.)

This making Mn(MO3)2 0.191M
