Description

Theodore Henry Goodman (1830-1914) began his career in railway service in 1850, serving as general freight, passenger and/or ticket Agent for various railway systems, initially in the Ohio region. In 1868 he relocated to California as General Passenger and Ticket Agent for the Southern Pacific Co. where he served until his retirement in 1905, a little over 6 months after Jane Lathrop Stanford's death.
