Description

Henry J. Davison Jr. became part-owner and publisher of Godey's Magazine and Lady's Book in 1892. He married Marie Weed Alden (Marie Weed Davison) in 1891. He developed Halcyon Hall, a luxury hotel and country retreat, designed by architect James E. Ware, in 1893 at Bennett School for Girls in Millbrook, NY.
