Very Rev. Angelo Delfino Casanova (?-1893) was pastor of San Carlos of Monterey catholic church from 1870 until his death in 1893. He also organized the restoration of the Carmel Mission. "V. F." after his name apparently means "vicar forane" or rural dean.
