Bradley Moore Davis (1871-1957) had completed three years toward a Botany degree at Indiana University when he moved with David Starr Jordan to complete his final year in the inaugural year of Stanford University, A.B. Botany '92 Stanford; A.M. '94, Ph.D. '95 Harvard. He was a Botany professor and taught at the University of Chicago for 11 years, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan beginning in 1919.
