Description

Frederick "Fred" Baker (1854-1938) was a physician, an eye, ear, nose and throat specialist, in San Diego. He was also a naturalist and was co-founder of organizations that led to the creation of the San Diego Zoo and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
