Ulysses Simpson "Buck" Grant Jr. (1852-1929) was the second son of U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant and Julia (Dent) Grant. He was a lawyer and was his father's personal secretary while President. He and his family moved from New York to San Diego in 1893 where he became a real estate investor.
