Description

William Andrew Leonard (1848-1930) was an Episcopal priest who served at two churches in Brooklyn, then became rector of St. John's Church in Washington D.C. in 1880. In 1889 he was elected to be assistant bishop of the Diocese of Ohio but when he arrived the bishop retired so Leonard became Bishop and concluded his career in Ohio.
