Mary Eudora (Miller) Clover (1860-1920) was the daughter of U.S. Senator John Franklin Miller (1831-1886) of California. She married Richardson Clover (1846-1919), a U.S. Navy officer who ultimately became Rear Admiral, in 1886. They resided in Washington, D.C., where he was most often stationed but also were in London for several years.
