Anthony J. Drexel



Anthony Joseph Drexel Sr. (1826-1893). American banker who founded Drexel, Morgan & Co. with J.P. Morgan. He was a close friend of President Ulysses S. Grant and died on June 30, 1893, just nine days after Leland Stanford's death.
