Lydia Kellogg Hopkins (1887-1965) was the only child of Timothy Nolan Hopkins (1859-1936), adopted son of Mark Hopkins' widow Mary, and Mary "May" Kellogg (Crittenden) Hopkins (1863-1941). Lydia was owner of many "toy" dogs and competed in dog shows, with over 150 winning dogs in her lifetime. She never married.
