Description

John Francis Sheehan (1845-1919) was the owner and publisher of the Sacramento Bee and San Francisco Post newspapers. His son, John Francis Sheehan Jr. (1873-1933), was a member of the pioneer class at Stanford University, receiving an A.B. in History in 1895.
