Sister Lidwine

Sister Lidwine (Mary Lee) (1860-1952) was a Catholic nun, born in Ireland, who entered the Congregation of Sisters of Notre Dame at a young age. She taught school in Massachusetts, then Washington, D.C., where she became the first President of Trinity College in 1897, but was replaced after 15 months. She later taught in Columbus, Ohio, and retired to The Summit in Cincinnati.
