When I wrote you
from Albany I did not
think your loved and
only Sister would so soon
passed into the "World
Unseen." How very mysterious
it allseems is, it is said
to be "only a step" but oh!
how far they seem to be
but Annas eyes are now
opened, she is at rest, and
it may be very near the
few loved ones that have

to us and we think often
of you so for away. I wish
I could press your hand
and try to express what
I feel for you in your
grief. I think so often
too of your dear Mother
who always shared her
room, and the Judson
family griefs and joys
together. How few
families lived as they
did in neighborly love.
