Two sons only are married, one
however, is a widower. A young
er sister & I teach school, while our
eldest sister was our housekeeper.
Immediately after our mother's
death, she became low-spirited
and melancholy & we feared
for her reason, but with care-
ful nursing she came out all
right. The improvement was
only temporary, for in September
her nervousness developed into
insanity. Still we hoped
for the best & prayed it would
yield to treatment. Our sister
Eve was a lovly character
mild, loving & even-tempered,
We doctored, we hoped, we pray
ed, no improvement. A nurse
took care of her during school
hours, my sister & I the rest of
the time, so it went on for a
whole year, as I look back
I thank God no harm or in
jury befell her or us.

Mrs. Stanford:

Don't we
feel at times as if God sends
us more trouble than we can
bear, but the back is fitted to
the burden & Earth has no sor-
row that Heaven can not heal

Dear Mrs. Stanford

Your husband was met by
the holy angels as he went to
join their band, and he knew
his boy & yours, as he greeted
him in that glorious spirit
land.
