must remember that it was the same Merciful God who gave us our dear ones, has taken them again to himself. We pray that this parting has removed your beloved husband, from an imperfect world, to one of everlasting happiness. If we could hear the voices of our dear ones they would tell us to

dry our tears, and joyfully perform our earthly duties, till the time come[s] when we will be reunited We all have our work to do in this world. You must be resigned to the will of our Heavenly Father, that you may receive grace to toil alone, and, do His will in all things. We are but miserable

comforters to each other and must remember the words of Tennyson:
"Cast all your cares on God; That anchor holds."
