Both men possessed boundless
and wise sypmathy for their fellow beings.
Greater praise than this can be given to
no mortal man. Indeed the unbe-
-lievers frankly concede this praise
to Jesus as a man: and add
that sympathy in a man is a
more divine excellence than when
seen in God.

Posterity will long cherish
Governor Stanford's name and yours.

I again transmit my thanks
for the very substantial and com-
-plimentary favors which he and
you have rendered to me and mine.

May your days be many and
full of peace.

Very Respectfully
Frank Miller
