It is impossible to fully express my sympathy for you in this hour of your deep affliction, or in fact say anything that can console you for the loss of your esteemed husband.
His career was one worthy the attention of the people of our country. Success crowned the fortitude and

At a time when the political future of the whole Pacific Coast was a question of uncertainty, he maintained the patriotism becoming its first citizen and preserved the loyalty that was invaluable for the entire country. he was one of the few great war governors, and one of
