Isn't it blessed to know my dear friend
that whatever in our beloved ones was lovely
we shall find purified & intensified by
the influence of personal intercourse with
their Saviour & to find that each year
the grave hides less & that the communion
in hope & confident anticipation comes
nearer to the reality of that personal
intercourse which we here enjoy through
these clumsy senses, that seem to hide
nearly as much as they reveal.
What a speaking comfort it must be to you
