Forgive me for taking this time to reach you but from the thousands who respect and honor his memory let one girl's gratitude live after death. Thanking you and with tenderest sympathy to Mrs Stanford -

Carson City Nev 9-8-1893. Sis', I have yours to the Postmaser saying Jane L. Stanford had received my letter of last of July. Containing nine railroad Passes on Eastern roads - which I requested returned as they are very valuable to me I have got no reply. Will you please return the same to me at Reno Nev or keep them till I call or send for them when I get to the City. [?] A.M. [Raher-???]
