was sick in bed for three months,
and then she began to
regain her strenth until
within the last two or
three weeks she has not been
feeling so well. I took her
to the Dean of the College
of Physicians and Surgeons
Dr W. E. Guring, one
of the best in the city and
he said that he considered it
of the utmost importance
that she leave for Angona
in southern California as
soon as possible, if she
remained in the city this
winter he would not answer
for the consequences. She
is in the first stages of
Turbucolosis [sic] or rather
consumptive, but if it be
taken right now, she can be cured
