parish to fix up our little ch.
The ladies have worked quilts
hard and succeeded in raising
enough for a new roof & we
now want to remodel on the
inside. It is a very pretty
rock church, but has been
built many years.

I am only the rector's
wife and can do so little
to help in the good cause
haveing [sic] my little family
& home to care for, but I
did think I might try &
help them by writing and
asking you if you will
give us some thing towards
