Mrs. Jane L. Stanford
San Francisco
Madam:

I heard this morning by my men whom are at Palo Alto that you have
decided to have the gold mosaics I sent, fixed in the Cupol of the
Museum. The effect will be certainly good, but I take the liberty
to suggest to you to have some blew enamelled stars fixed with the
gold ground at 3 feet far one from the other. I have made a lot of
cupols with these stars and the effect is beautiful.

I wish to say that I shall not charge anything for these stars
which I propose to send to you, but I would be pleased if you
accept my suggestion as the effect will be no doubt far superior.

As I might be quite able to send them with the invoice for end
of May, kindly wire me only, Send stars, and will ship a sufficient
quantity already pasted on paper.

Kindly let me know about the third picture for over the entrance
door in Museum.

I beg to remain with sincere compliments,
Respectfully yours,
M. Camerino
