Congress has been so dis-
organized for some years
& so averse to Tensions
that they have told me
nothing could be done.
Now, there are a number
of Officer's widows, in the
same catagory with my
self - some who need
it even more, for I have
a house over my head
although according to law
I have been on third in
terest in it; - my dear
husband having died
without a will. But
I murmur at nothing
but have much to
thank God for. I have
