Through Mr. Norris K.
Davis I have just secured a copy
of the letter of Senator Stewart in
answer to the letter of Mr. Davis,
which I enclose herewith. I will
write to the Sperry Flower Company and
ask that they request Mr. Stewart
to call upon me in case he enquires
for Mr. Davis. I will explain to him
that the Board did not wish to ask
for his resignation; but that they will
have no alternative in case he cannot
attend the meetings; and that the
same is true of some other trustees.

see you personally relative to Mr. Wilson
