We all want to congratulate
you on your good success
with your Government Law suit
so far. I am sure you
must win it in the Supreme
Court also, and what a
satisfaction and relief it will
be. I think it will be
quite a feather in your cap
too, my dear Mrs. Stanford.

How you must long for the
Governor, in all this trouble
and perplexity and burden
of care. It is hard to see
why it should have been
left to your shoulders, But
when the cares come, the
strength comes with them
does it not? If we could
only remember that!
