deserving the preference.
The children are very well and happy in this lovely place but we expect to leave on Monday next for our own dear home - having had a most restful enjoyable summer.
My friend Mrs. Allen leaves tomorrow for her Eastern home. I miss her agreeable companionship greatly. She has often refered to the day we spent with you as one of the most delightful and interesting of her whole life.

I cannot tell how much we both enjoyed your hospitality that day only fearing you were exerting yourself beyond your strength for our entertainment.
For your true loving kindness and friendship dear Mrs Stanford you will ever have the sincere affection and esteem of your devoted
Friend
Adeline M. Easton
Kindest remembrance to Mr. Stanford

Dear Mrs. Stanford, In this morning's mail I found the "Pass" which you have so kindly secured for me for the season of 1895. I can not find the words to express to you my sincere thankfulness and deep appreciation of this favor, and this renewed expression of your interest in our college enterprises. We are indebted to you for so many favors that mere words are a very cold expression of our feeling.
In thanking you again, believe me to be
Most respectfully yours
