But if you do not feel bound to the biblical reference, the simple article of the apostles creed "He ascended into Heaven" is short, descriptive & a statement of the fact.

The Church is to be magnificent the college, the village the state will benefit and god will be glorified.

because statements of fact in the bible are apt to be discursive.

For the ascension I can think of one only from the Bible & that not a record of the fact: - John 20:17 "I ascend unto my fathers
