mosquito bites - apparently
while on a visit to San
Jose. She is nearly well
and will be up

The baby Eric has
cut his first tooth. He
is glorious! I mean to
make a { ?} of him.
We shall all be glad

to see you here again. A heavy
shower on Tuesday - the first
in August since 1864 has
laid all the dust.
