obeyed, and tho I close up, as an employe
I will hope to continue as a friend and
I stand ready at any and all times, to
do for you at this end everything in
my power. I feel better for having been
in the service of such a man
God rest his soul, and go out in the
world full of hope and almost confident
that something will turn up, by which
I can provide for these that God has
given me.

I have hopes that Mr Perkins
will employ me but dont know anything
definite about it.

Hoping that you will have
nothing but joy and happiness for the remainder
of your life

I am as ever yours obediently and friend
