Our little Leland Stanford is doing handsomely, and though
only a little over a year old is beginning to walk
about. Mrs McCarthy had some plates made of
him on his birthday. I'll send you one in a few
days. I hope you are well. Helena and Lizzie
have returned from their trip to Europe much
benefitted.
