My dear Mrs. Stanford,

Having heard through Mrs. Senator Vest that it would not be convenient for you to call and see our orphan boys for some time. I thought it best to send you the orphans welcome greeting which they were going to have for you. I also take the liberty of sending you a little medal of dear good St. Joseph.
