Dear Mrs. Stanford:

Your brother, Mr. Lathrop, has suggested to me to send you
one fourth ton Carbon Hill briquettes in sacks. He says same could
be nicely tested in the little library of your home. These briquettes
are made by the Tesla Company's plant from Carbon Hill coal, as an
experiment. Will you kindly give the matter sufficient attention,
so as to report to Mr. Lathrop your opinion of them as domestic
fuel.
