SPEYER & CO., 30 BROAD STREET, NEW YORK, Jan. 31th 1902
My dear Mrs. Stanford,
I {enclose?} a circular in ref. to the Baltimore & Ohio Bonds about which I spoke to you the other day. The Bonds are very good { ?] { ?} so they net a trifle over 4% interest on the investment. If you take any, we would allow you a commission of 1/4% off the required price. Hoping that you are quite well I remain
Sincerely Yours Lamer Speyer

SPEYER & CO., 30 BROAD STREET, NEW YORK Oct. 17 1902
My dear Mrs. Stanford,
I am sorry I could not see you yesterday when I called, but hope you are progressing favorably.
I do not know whether you have invested the money against which we had sold your Baltimore & Ohio Bonds which we afterwards took back from you. We have two or three lots of Bonds which I think are exceptionally { ?} and attractive at the prices at which we can sell them to you.
If you wish I can send the { ?] of our office who has these matters in charge up to you to explain the particulars at any time you may choose unless you prefer to wait till I can see you myself some day next week after Tuesday.
Of course, I am very busy just now with a thousand and one things, but will call to see you as soon as I possibly can so do.
In the meanwhile I remain with kindest regards as ever
Yours Sincerely Lamer Speyer

Part of your bonds have been registered but this can be easily changed. We will write you fully about the matter today.
