also for your kind expressions of friendship at for dear Sister Nellie. She was indeed a lovely character and many will miss her kind and charitable deeds. She gave an encouraging word and helpful hand to so many young and struggling men and women, and they now rise up and call her blessed. Miss Lawson will especially miss her, as she gave her a home for many months, while she was trying to get a position as teacher in a kinder garten.
My dear friend my address is still the same 50 Bellevue Place. My sister's old home is the address on this paper

My dear friend Mrs Stanford
your loving and comforting letter was duly received, and I thank you for the consoling words it contained, and
and letters sent to either place will reach me at present. I spend a half of every week with Mr {Swact ?}, to try and make him feel less lonely, but the heart aches and the yearnings will come in spite of deepest faith, for we cannot help but miss the dear ones, their loving words and fond embrace, will linger with us. Thanks for the little card "Cardinal Mannings Prayer" the sentiment is most lovely and pure and I have read it several times to get all the comfort from it I could. Henry and daughter Nellie join me in fondest love to you. My dear old friend - always the same -
