For the disappointment
that the precious boy
has gone to join
the one who is now
progressing in the
Fair Land beyond.
this world of sorrow.
All day yesterday
in spite of all I had
to do dear May was
in my thoughts and
I sent a prayer to our
blessed Saviour that

she might pass
safety through her
her delivery.

That there is One
on whom we may
lean and who hears
our cries is a comfort
to those who through
sorrow seek Him -

I will do the only
thing that is left me
to do for dear May
take her to my blessed
Saviour and ask His
blessing.
