Dear Sir: -
Your favor of July 10th, 1894, delayed because of
interruption in the mails, was received by me several days ago.
Replying thereto I will say that after Consulation with
my attorneys, Meessrs, Spencer, and Wilson & Wilson, we have come
to the conclusion not to give any power of attorney either to
yourself, Gen. Hubbard or Mr. Stillman, as suggested by you, and
to add that I am unwilling to give any power of attorney to
any other person whatever is the matter.
