I spoke to her yesterday
to see if she could rent rooms
in the little house next
the stable on Powell St.
And if she can I will
let her have ten dollars
a month to go once a
week and see that the
house is all right and no
moths (?) getting in. I hope
she can suceede [sic] J.L.S

I will clean up all
my bills for Aug - the
butcher, grocer, and little
out laundry bills. I
don't see an to bother
your office any more
