while here on earth, deeds are recorded in heaven, not words, therefore he is now spared regrets. If I am destined to bear more sorrow, I shall try to be resigned to the will of Him who shapes our destinies, feeling whatever of trials and tribulations may yet come. They are a part of Gods great plan. and I must do the best I can to live on without complaining. I know joy will come when earth life is over, and I am reunited with my loved ones never again to be separated. The waiting will be hard without my work to do but each day brings the end nearer.

I sent your blessed letter to Dr. Jordan. I know he will prize its contents. He has stood by me nobly, and is a tower of strength. The faculty too have never wavered in their beleif[sic belief] in the future.
