NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the E. B. & A. L. STONE COMPANY,
a corporation duly incorporated under and by virtue of the laws
of the State of California, with its principal place of business
at and in the city of Oakland, County of Alameda, State of Cal-
ifornia, as material men, has furnished materials to be used and
which were ordered to be used and have actually been used in the
erection and construction of a certain building known as the
"Natural Science Building" now partially erected and situated
on that certain piece or parcel of land sought to be charged with
this lien situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of Cal-
ifornia, forming a portion of the grounds of the Leland Stanford
Junior University, near Palo Alto, in said County, and particu-
larly described as follows, to wit:

Commencing at the North Westerly corner of the Memorial Arch
in the grounds of the Leland Stanford Junior University near said
Town of Palo Alto, and running thence Southerly along the West-
erly line of said Memorial Arch extended, Two Hundred and Twenty-
five (225) feet; thence at right angles Westerly Three Hundred and
Fifty (350) feet; thence at right angles Easterly Three Hun-
dred and Fifty (350) feet to a point where the said last named
