To Whom it May Concern:

Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Jane L. Stanford by her
attorney in fact

(1) That the Cast Iron work of the Natural Sciences Building
of the Leland Stanford Junior University now in course of con-
struction upon the below piece of land
the contract for doing which was heretofore let to Vulcan Iron Works, a corporation
and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's office of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, on the ___ day of
___, 1899, and which said building is situated on said property,
was actually completed on the nineth day of April 1901, and
accepted by the undersigned on said day.

That the title of the undersigned to said property is that of (2) Jane L. Stanford, as surviving
Founder of the Leland Stanford Junior University.

That the property hereinbefore referred to, and on which said building
is situated is
at the said Leland Stanford Junior University, in the County
of Santa Clara, State of California, in the grounds of the University
above named.

In witness whereof the said Jane L. Stanford has caused
these presents to be executed by her attorney-in-fact this
tenth day of April 1901
