Notice of Completion of Work Given by Mrs Jane L. Stanford Dated March 1st, 1900

Recorded at the Request of Chas. Ed. Hodges in 8 of Miscl Page 600 this 7 day of March 1900 at 9 o'clock A.M. Records of Santa Clara County

State of California City and County of San Francisco Chas. G. Lathrop, Attorney in fact for Jane L. Stanford being first duly sworn, says that she is the Surviving Founder and rightful & legal owner of the property described and referred to in the foregoing notice; that she has read said notice and knows the contents thereof; that the same is true of his own knowledge.

To Whom it May Conceren:

Notice is hereby given by Mrs Jane L. Stanford the owner of the property hereinafter described:

(1) That the Concrete work, Brickwork, Stonework, Ironwork and Carpenters work on the Memorial Arch

the contract for doing which was heretofore let to The John McGilvray Stone Co and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's office of the Hall of Records San Jose, County of Santa Clara, and which Building is situated on said property, was actually completed on the First day of March, 1900 and accepted by me on said day.

That my title to said property is that of (2) Surviving Founder of the Leland Stanford Jr. University.

That the property hereinbefore referred to, and on which said Building is situated, is more particularly described as follows:

The Memorial Arch of the Leland Stanford Junior University, County of Santa Clara, State of California.

STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA

Jane L. Stanford, Owner to Chas. A. Warren, Contractor

NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF AND CESSATION OF LABOR.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

That Jane L. Stanford as Owner of a certain ditch and concrete tunnel situated on the Palo Alto Farm, in Santa Clara County. The contract for the building of the said ditch and tunnel and the labor and material for the same.

The contract for said work was filed in the Office of the Recorders Office of the County of Santa Clara, State of Cal. on the 29th day of September 1900 in which C. A. Warren is named as contractor, and J. G. McMillan as Engineer and Superintendent.

Notice is hereby given that the said work is completed and accepted, and that all labor on the same has ceased.

Dated at San Jose, this 7th day of Dec. 1900.
