To whom it may concern.

Notice is hereby given by Jane L. Stanford of the County of Santa Clara, the donor of the property to the Leland Stanford Jr University, hereinafter described, That all the concrete work for the Foundations of the three story stone building, to be known as the University Library Building at the Leland Stanford Junior University, the contract for doing which was heretofore let to Harry B. Morey, and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's Office of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, on the 17th day of June 1904, and which building is situated on the property herein described, was actually completed on the 27th day of October 1904, and accepted by the undersigned on said day.

That the said Jane L. Stanford, as Surviving Founder of the Leland Stanford Junior University is the donor of the said Building, entered into the above contract and caused the same to be carried out, that the title of the undersigned to said building is that of donor to the Leland Stanford Junior University, the Board of Trustees being Owner in fee simple, and that the said Jane L. Stanford has heretofore resigned and relinquished her powers and interests as such Surviving Founder.

That the said Building deferred to is situated on the Palo Alto Farm, upon a lot of land on the Campus or grounds of the Leland Stanford Junior University, near Palo Alto, in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, located about six hundred feet in a Northerly direction from the North-east corner of the Outer Quadrangle and facing due East.

That the said work was also accepted by C. E. Hodges the Architect deferred to in said contract, on said 27th day of October 1904, said contract being hereby referred to and made a part hereof.

This notice is intended to be the Notice of Completion contemplated by Section 1187 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California.

Stanfoard, being duly sworn, says that she is President of the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University and donor to the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University, of the property descibed in and referred to in the foregoing notice, and knows the contents thereof, and that the same is true of her own knowledge.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE is hereby given by Jane L. Stanford, the President of the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University, the owner of the property hereinafter described, THAT all the stonework, concrete, ironwork and tilework and all other work for the Stone Entrance Gateway situated on the County Road and Main Avenue at the Leland Stanford Junior University, the contract for doing which was heretofore let to The McGilvray Stone Company, and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's Office of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, on the 30th day of June 1904, and which Gateway is situated on the property herein described, was actually completed on the third day of January 1905, and accepted by the undersigned on said day.

That the title of the undersigned to said property is that of Owner in fee simple.

That the said Gateway referred to is situated on the Palo Alto Farm, upon a lot of land on the Campus or grounds of the Leland Stanford Junior University, near Palo Alto, in the County of Santa Clara, State of California.

That the said work was also accepted by Chas. E. Hodges the Architect referred to in said contract, on said third day of January 1905, said contract being hereby referred to and made a part hereof.

This Notice is intended to be the Notice of Completion contemplated by Section 1187 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California.

Jane L. Stanford, being duly sworn, says that she is one of the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University, also the President for said Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University, owner of the property described in and referred to in the foregoing notice; that she has read said notice, and knows the contents thereof, and that the name is true of her own knowledge; that she makes this affidavit on behalf of such Owner.
