Dear Mr. Lathrop -

Wishing to extend to you in
your bereavement the slight
consolation of our sympathy,
the Stanford Club of San Jose
have adopted the following
resolutions. I assure you that
they but fully express the sorrow
and sympathy of the members.

and nobler woman than Mrs. Stanford
never lived, afford some comfort to you
