It seemed too horrible that anyone could have been so brutal as to cut short the life of so good and so noble a woman. The thought saddened and horrified us. But now that it seems as if death came naturally, we can feel reconciled. A few of the Pioneers who are in Sacramento shall offer their tribute to the memory of one to whom they owe so much.
