Dear Sir:- I have just received your request that I, together with my colleagues of the Assembly act as honorary pall-bearers at Mrs. Stanford's funeral on to-morrow. It is my present intention to be present and I shall, of course, deem it a privilege to act in that capacity. As my wife will accompany me and as I shall, by reason of acting as a pall-bearer, be compelled to leave her alone, may I request that if possible a seat be reserved for her during the exercises.
