Dear Sir:-
Acting in the interests of the Associated Stanford Stu-
dents of Los Angeles and vicinity and as temporary chairman I have
to-day expressed to you an engrossed copy of resolutions of sympathy
adopted by the former Stanford students of this city assembled on
March 6th and signed by 72 members. We have sent $40 to Mr. Benj.
P. Oakford of San Francisco for a floral piece to be at the funeral.
Mr. Oakford will be our representative. We only regret that we are
so far removed that we can not take a more active part in this matter.
